On September 3, 2025 Mr. Chalerm Punnanithi Head of Green Industrial Solution Business, Mr. Nuttawut Somchai Managing Director – EPS, and Mr. Nattapol Domethong Energy Business Director – EPS participated in the contract signing ceremony of the Green Steam Solution (Biomass Boiler) project with Michelin Siam Co., Ltd. (Phra Pradaeng Plant). Representatives from Michelin included Mr. Manuel Fafian – President and Managing Director – Michelin Asia Pacific Mr. Thirapol Muangnao – Senior Vice President Manufacturing Operations Michelin Asia and Ms. Pauline Blum – Managing Director, Michelin Phra Pradaeng Plant joined the ceremony which held at the Michelin Asia Pacific Headquarters, The Nine Towers Grand Rama 9.
The project is collaboration under Michelin’s vision as a global leader committed to develop advanced composite materials and deliver enhanced mobility experiences. Aligned with its strong ESG principles, Michelin aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions throughout its production process.
Green Steam Solution (Biomass Boiler) is a comprehensive solution, in which EPS serves as the investor and responsible for procuring biomass fuel, operation and maintenance and ash disposal with environmentally friendly process. EPS will deliver reliable green steam to the Michelin Phra Pradaeng Plant under a 15-years contract which is expected to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 11,000 tons CO₂ per year.
